BRUSH CREEK FILM FESTIVAL

bush_edited_edited.png

The Brush Creek Film Festival is currently in its 8th year of production. It was started in 2016 as a Foundation Video Workshop at the Kansas City Art Institute.  In this course, students learn about video production and artistic social engagement through the theme of local water issues.  Students produce short films as well as host a public Film Festival event centered around our local Brush Creek.

The mission of the Brush Creek Film Festival is to engage the Kansas City community with a compelling image and understanding of our beloved creek and local water.  It is intended to entertain, share ideas, and ultimately build community through creative and visionary short films.

The Brush Creek Film Festival is supported in part by:

The Kansas City Art Insitute and Kansas City Parks & Recreation
