BRUSH CREEK FILM FESTIVAL
Theme: Creek Theory
Every Creek has a story. Some are geological. Some are political. Some are personal. This year’s call invites films that explore the forces – natural, civic, social, historical, and imaginative – that have shaped Brush Creek.
From flood control and infrastructure to memory and myth, we welcome work that investigates, questions, or reimagines the layered forces that define Brush Creek.
Prop: a Spoon
An implement consisting of a small, shallow oval on a long handle must be visually referenced at some point in each film

Submission
Requirements:
Video should be submitted as 1920 x 1080 MP4 file.
Video file should be titled for submission as: firstname_lastname_titleofmovie.mp4.
Video can be no longer than 5 minutes in length.
Video must include an opening title and closing credits (include all filmmakers, music sources, etc.) Credits should be included in 5 minute length.
All music must be either copyright / royalty free or used with appropriate permission.
Films must be submitted by 5 PM on Sunday, May 10, 2026
All submissions should be sent via a Dropbox or Google Drive link with subject line "Brush Creek Film Fest Entry" to brushcreekfilmfest@gmail.com or on this site
